At San Jose, we take every opportunity to enjoy the fellowship that God provides through mutual affection and to share in the warmth of God's love with each other. Our parish-wide events and hospitality functions are frequent and fun.
Meet our Hospitality Chair
Cathy Richter -
As the hospitality chair at San Jose, I am excited to help continue a tradition of enjoying fellowship with one another. With help, I hope to do this by extending a genuine welcome, providing support, and fostering a sense of belonging within the church community at each event we enjoy together. I am here to support the many commitees and church members by offering assistance, and creating opportunities for meaningful connections, fellowship and spiritual growth. Ultimately, my aim is to create an environment where individuals feel valued, supported, and encouraged in their faith journey in the life of the church.

Coffee and Convo
During the program year, we have coffee and usually a light breakfast treat from 9:00am until 9:30am when Sunday School begins.
Choir Performances
A light reception following our amazing Choir performances. Dates TBD
Outreach Party
This amazing event is hosted by our Outreach Committee and provides major funding to many local charities. The Hospitality Team will provide additional support. For more information on this awesome event contact Cathe Gray (Outreach@sanjoseepiscopal.com)
Annual San Jose Church Christmas Party
Each year we are grateful for your presence and look forward to enjoying a delightful variety of finger foods, appetizers, and desserts together. The hospitality team will host an amazing "Pot Luck" reception and Christmas Party following a beautiful Christmas Performance from the Church Choir.
Epiphany Party
The Hospitality Team will host a reception following Epiphany Service.
How you may help!
If you are thinking of helping with any of the above events we’d love to talk to you further. Commitment levels range from minimal time to more involved. We have a Food committee, Setup committee & Cleanup Committee. Or you may want to be a little more involved and host an event. Whatever your commitment level - we’d love your help.
