Children's Program at San Jose Episcopal Church

Church Programs

Our children's ministry is open to all children ages 3-9. The weekly curriculum engages our youngest parishioners in hands-on activities, games, and service projects that allow them to learn about God’s love through Bible stories, through community service, and through learning about the larger kingdom in which we live.

We ask that you partner with us in encouraging your child to attend to Sunday school every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in our Sunday school classroom. Our focus is on how to live God’s word in our actions in the world right now, and how to spread kindness and joy.

We also offer a seasonal Wednesday night children’s program for grades 1-6 that builds on similar themes to our Sunday school curriculum.

Gospel & Grits at San Jose Episcopal Day School

It's a great way for 4th-6th graders to start their school day off right! Meet in the Church Lounge before school at 7:15 a.m. one Tuesday each month and enjoy delicious grits while learning the ways God works and how to draw closer to Him in our daily lives.

Cubby Club

Our Cubby Club infant/toddler program, for children ages 1-3 and their caregivers, meets one Thursday morning a month from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Sunday school room. Participants enjoy songs, games, art, and more.
