8am and 10:30am Sunday Services
San Jose Episcopal Church
We Have Returned to the Two-Service Schedule!
There are many ways to engage with our faith community on Sunday mornings. It has long been said that our primary duty as Christians is to worship, but we offer much more than just your run-of-the-mill Sunday Eucharist. Join us weekly for diverse enriching of the mind, body, spirit.
Two Services – Feed the Spirit
8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II
This service is perfect for those that prefer a more quiet and reflective style of worship. There is no music at this service. In Advent and Lent, we use the Rite I Order of Worship.
10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II
For those that enjoy worshiping with both word and song, this service is the perfect blend. The Chancel Choir returns September 5th but you can expect to sing hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs every week. This is by far our strongest inter-generational offering.
Breakfast – Feed the Body
9:00 a.m. in the Parish Center
We have 5 dedicated Breakfast Crews that take turns each Sunday preparing a phenomenal hot breakfast for the people of San Jose Episcopal for a requested donation of $4 for adults and $2 for children under 5. This is an excellent way to bring the family together for a half-hour meal before departing for our various Christian Education offerings. To sign-up to cook with one of our breakfast crews, contact Katie Bennett.
Christian Education – Feed the Mind
There are many ways to engage with the educational branch of our faith community. For the young ones, there is a robust Children’s Ministry led by Melissa Spediacci. For adults, diverse offering by both clergy, staff, and parishioners. For the musically-inclined, our Chancel Choir (directed by Zeek Smith) also rehearses during this time, which is just as much education as it is rehearsal.
Good luck to all of our new and returning students, teachers, administrators, and staff!
